The Achaean League (Κοινὸν τῶν Ἀχαιῶν) was a confederation of Greek cities. Originally based in Achaea, the league formed political unions with cities and towns in north and central Peloponnese. The silver coins are numerous in types with different kinds of symbols and abbreviations of magistrates or cities.
