The Indo-Scythians were Scythians (Iranian Eurasian nomads), who migrated into Western South Asia in the 2nd century BC to 4th century AD. Azes I was a ruler of the Indo-Scythians. More recently it is theorised that Azes I and Azes II may in fact be the one and same person. Azes II is speculated to be one of the 3 wise men who visited Jesus Christ in Bethlehem.
