This lot of coins comprises mostly the 'horserider' bronzes of Philip II of Macedon and several Alexander III the Great types, with Herakles on the obverse and bowcase and club on the reverse.

Philip II of Macedon was King of Macedon and father of Alexander the Great and Philip III Arrhidaeus. The bronze series of this type is extensive and differentiated principally by the different symbols and letters which appear on the reverse and occasionally on the obverse. These symbols and letters, known as control marks, were used to identify the officials responsible for a particular issue of coinage.

If this coin is deemed not to be authentic by a professional certification service, then I will refund to the Purchaser the full cost of acquiring the coin (including shipping) together with the certification fees.
