Nice deep toning with earthen highlights. Coin features two sports from the ancient Greek olympic games, most notably the classic wrestling image that is seen on countless greek postcards and souvenirs and instantly recognisable as Greek. Situated in Asia Minor, Aspendos was an ancient city, sharing a border with Side. Today it is known for its ancient ruins, including the best preserved ancient theatre.
