- Rare example of a coinage issue sponsored by a woman.
A rare example of a coinage issue which was sponsored by a woman. Mineia arranged for the reconstruction of the basicila in Paestum on which she inscribed the names of her husband, sons, brothers and nephew. It is thought by some that this coinage was issued to commemorate the building of the basicila and features her portrait on the obverse and the basicilca on the reverse.
