Alexander the Great requires no introduction. One of the most influential people of all time, his legacy has helped shape the world we live in today. The coins of Alexander the Great continued to be issued in his honour long after his short but fully-lived life. This coin, minted during his lifetime is of a similar style to the bronze coinage of his father, King Philip II of Macedon, but with the horse rider notably absent.
