We aim to ship as soon as reasonably practicable after payment is received. We cannot be held responsible for any uninsurable losses arising out of the mail process, including any losses arising due to the local laws of your country. Descriptions and images: We use our best endeavours to accurately photograph, describe and attribute coins relying on available physical and online references. We put considerable effort into researching coins in physical references and online databases. Over time, dates, mints and other items attributed to a particular coin can change from new research. In some cases these matters are the subject of ongoing debate by academics. Additionally although grading an ancient coin is a matter of subjective opinion, we try to be conservative. We try our best to take photos which mirror how the coin appears in hand. However, photographs will vary slightly (including colour) from the actual subject due to lighting conditions and limitations in the equipment and post-processing software used.
Refunds & Returns: We are happy to refund you if you change your mind or are not happy with your purchase for any reason, provided you make this request within 7 days of receiving your item(s). The refunded amount will exclude shipping costs and will only be issued once the coin has returned safely and in the same condition it was sent to you. All ancient coins and antiquities are guaranteed authentic for life. You may return an item for a refund, at any time, if it is established by a suitably qualified and experienced professional certifier that it is not authentic. Professional certifier for these purposes means anyone who we are satisfied that is well reputed as a reliable provider of certification services for ancient coins and / or antiquities. At this timne, we consider the following professiojnal certifiers to be acceptable: David.R.Sear, who is a leading authority in the field of ancient numismatics; and PCGS. Refunds will include shipping and certification fees you incurred, provided those fees are in our opinion, reasonable. Except to the extent required by law and without limiting any rights you have at law, for all other circumstances, it is our discretion whether refunds will be issued. You understand that describing the condition of ancient coins and antiquities can be subjective and can often rely on interpretation of available research. If you think we have misdescribed a coin, then we will consider your request for a refund reasonably and in good faith. Examples of minor issues unlikely to give rise to a refund: we have incorrectly described the date of a coin as 16AD instead of 17AD; 2) We have attributed the coin to the wrong reference number e.g. referencing SNG ANS 888 instead of SNG ANS 887. We will also not issue refunds where contemporary research overrides previous understanding of a coin’s origin, or ruler etc.
